That Hungarian FEG Hi Power shoots amazingly well considering the minimal sights...
Jeep Wrangler JL Firearm and knife collectors HP target

This was 2 full mags at 10 yards...
The SA-35 will out shoot it but just barely...

Sort of. The M14 was the military rifle.
Springfield Armory calls the civilian variants M1As
This one is the short SOCOM 16 vesion.
Is that different than the "Tanker" M1s?

I believe they are the same basic rifle.
The Tankers sport a wood stock and I don't think they have the forward "scout" rail.
The SOCOM 16s have been around for decades...the Tankers are a fairly new variant...
They seem to be a popular choice though...

My youngest son bought me this for my birthday last month. It also has a 19 round mag and a 5 round mag. I came with a hard case too.

12 gauge?
Looks pretty lightweight. How's the recoil?

What's the brand name? I'm thinking something that starts with Q, but it escapes me at the moment and I wanted to check them out.

I guess I'm the only one left on the planet from ancient times when beauty of a gun meant rare walnut figured wood stocks and hand engraving art.

The days of beauty guns are long gone. Even lever guns are tactical now.

There will always be a market for those types of guns. Just not a big market. Of course I would love to own some of these guns too. But owning one is way down the priority list. Those are guns to have, not guns to put a high round count through. I have one double barrel shot gun and it is very old and It has a rifle insert for one side. It has not been out of the safe in 30+ years. The rifle insert is a 30/55 I think. It has been a long time since it has been touched. It is by no means a high end gun like those sold on those sites.

I equate those guns to a very expensive watch. They are beautiful, they tell you the time, just like a Timex. Yet I understand the high end watch is not about telling time.
