There have been lots of moving pieces in my life this year, but I am delighted to say my OFFICIAL Jeep order went in with Mitch @ Ourisman on Thursday, Aug 31st!!!! Soooooooooooo excited.... I already have my VON & VIN.... and now I guess I just wait and see how long it takes to move through the process with the impending strike...

What is everyone currently seeing between C & D1 Status, and ultimately from Order Placed to order ready for pick up at dealership???????

You really cannot go with the "C or D1" statuses. I know things are different move, I ordered my 2023 in August of 2022. I got my Rubicon 15 December 2022. I progressed from C to D1 in less than 2 weeks, but I was in D1 status for 106 days. I think I regresses at least twice, if not more. I also ordered when they were still building a lot of 2022's. Depending on what you ordered, there seem to be a lot of slowdown on specific trims/features. I did not order any Mopar stuff which could delay the build. But Ourisman is a high volume dealer, so that is one thing that could speed up the build/delivery of the vehicle. Unfortunately the looming strike could negatively affect your order. Hang in there, it is well worth it. Maybe interest rates will go down between now and then...

Depends on what you ordered and whom you ordered it from. My Sahara was ordered July 20 and arrived at the dealer August 16 - 27 days total. Others have been seeing much longer wait times ... what did you order?

Hi - congrats on your order.
Come over to THIS thread and join the rest of us that are waiting.
Orders are… quirky this time around. Some move fast and some, like the poor folks that have ordered a manual transmission, aren’t moving at all.

Like others have said - it just depends on what you ordered. Many, if not most of us, are in C/D purgatory right now with no explanation and Jeep Cares really won't help if it hasn't been an abnormally long wait.

Speculation follows:
With a strike on the horizon we can only expect its going to take longer than we anticipated. If they strike, everything stops. If they get most of their demands, well, I don't know how that works from a production standpoint. They want to reduce the work week to 32 hours from 40. Either Stellantis will have to hire more workers to keep up production or pay additional overtime to keep production running at the same pace.

From those orders that have gone to production it seemed like early numbers indicated about 6-8 weeks to get D1, a month from that to go into production, and then anyone's guess as to when it's actually delivered. Despite what seem like optimistic timelines above, there are orders that have been out there in C/D for over 130 days which just baffles me why they're in D status since that's supposed to mean they have the inventory to build it.

The quick winners right now seem to be the 4XEs and there's a lot of rumors they're getting priority due to CARB regulations. The other semi-confirmed hold up is that a lot of the 3.6 A/T RubiXs are being held up due to lift kit supply shortages.

So, in the mean time you might as well join us in the waiting list thread and take the time you have between now and delivery to start planning on what upgrades are going to empty your pockets first :)

I kept it really as simple as I could to try and bypass some of the hold-ups everyone has mentioned.... I have on order a 2024 4xe Rubicon X... with a Sky One Touch Roof.... in white. no other add-ons, etc. - it's a pretty standard bulid... so I'm hoping that it's only impacted by strike stuff and not parts delays etc.....

I put my order in with Mitch on Friday last week! Super easy and fast process so far. I bet you'll get yours before mine, I insisted on another Manual this time ?

Yes, longer as in nobody has a clue when it may arrive with all the recall issues :CWL:. Thank you and good luck on your build too! :) I'm in Northwest PA (lots of great riding here!), around 4.5 hours from Ourisman. So far Mitch has been helpful and actually having a salesperson respond fast (or even at all), along with awesome pricing has been great so far.

Yes! He's been amazing... this is my first ever jeep, and my first ever new car purchase where I've picked what I get ... so I'm super excited .... I've heard there's lots of great places to ride in PA, and we're not far at all from the southern border of PA, so I will likely venture your direction eventually.... I'm just so excited to have finally been able to place the order!!! Oh, and super cute pup by the way! :)
