So... my first question: Does anyone know what this cable may be for? (Found on the passenger side foot-well)

As far as that cable or whatever it is, I have NO idea. My dumb ass would probably yank on it to see what happens…but I don’t recommend that ?

Looks like a cable that is running from/to the firewall. Maybe the previous owner had some aux lighting or something else that they removed and left the wiring?

Looks like a coax cable for a hand radio. I bet if you follow it it goes out near one of typical spots to mount an antenna. Front crowl by the hood or to the tailgate

Agree that the mystery cable is an aftermarket install that was left literally hanging at the time of the sale.

Another Happy Willys owner! I did the same thing last year and found a dream of a 2020 Willys 2 Door with darn near everything “I” wanted.

It's been mentioned that it's most likely an owner install of something. See if you can find it under the hood, that might solve the mystery. On my previous JK, I installed an alarm system, so that might be a possibility.
