It's over guys, we lost.
I obviously did not watch the whole video, but, for 99% of new car buyers, whe is actually correct. A Bronco Sport Badlands is a better activity vehicles for 99% of buyers than the Wrangler. Cheaper, quieter, better steering, shorter braking distances, safer, more fuel efficient, and will go to 99% of places where people will take a new vehicle to.

You need to realize that people like us who put up with all the Wrangler's shortcomings to be able to crawl some rocks without door are an aberration of nature.

I question any type of news being offered by a subsidiary of a company that makes a marginal operating system for our computers and video game consoles 😜

Someone was saying there is a Badlands edition Sport, that gives it a rear locker? Dunno anything about them myself 🤔
It does have a button for a rear locker, but I don't know if it's an actual locker or if it just activates some special computer stuff that will help with slippage in the rear. I tend to think it's the second. Could be wrong tho. And that also doesn't mean it's not effective.

Ha this gave me a good laugh so thanks for that.

"If (less lag time) is important to you, you may want to consider the Bronco." Could you imagine choosing your offroad vehicle based on stereo lag time? 😂 😂

Does anyone know what those GOAT modes actually do? Like if you put it unto "Echo" what is happening mechanically with the vehicle?

Thought that was funny too. She "heard" that the Jeep's stereo has a longer lag time. The bronco sport is definitely made for the person who has such a boring life that stereo lag time between vehicles is a topic of conversation amongst friends.

"Echo" definitely had me smiling lol.

And a for the lag.... I've never noticed a difference between the 2, to be honest. So, that one i think I have to disagree with her on. They're both computers, sometimes they work instantly, sometimes they have to think about it for a sec. Granted I'm taking about the big bronco.

I honestly appreciate her review. Hopefully it encourages more suburbanite soccer moms who think parking on the lawn is considered off-roading to buy the Bronco sport instead of asking Jeep to turn the Wrangler into a watered down ghost of its former self. The Bronco sport won’t be the death of the Wrangler, people like her who want sophistication and refinement all at a higher cost will destroy the Wrangler.
<cough> Land Rover Defenders since 2019.

We don't need to imagine it. ;) Here's a very plain example of it being mentioned.

For context, consider also the near-constant bleating, on this very site, for ever more stuff to be built into the Wrangler:
Power seats, heated seats, heated/cooled power seats, heated/cooled/massaging power seats, heated/cooled/massaging/leather power seats, always-larger touchscreens, the 392 and/or the 3.0TT in the two-door, full EV, 360° cameras, IFS(!), etc.

Nothing I mention above hasn't already been added to the Jeep, or been repeatedly wished for, here, by the owner community.

This thread is just the latest of many that functionally solicit the community's input on the subject.

The one thing we all might choose is for those folks who should've just bought the Escalade to be forced to do so.

We're not immune to the subject of stereo lag time. It manifests here in the form of threads and posts on wonky Uconnect functioning, appearing recurringly in the related subforum.

Well I will agree the Uconnect sucks and I got rid of mine as soon as I could. I'm sure you could find a post or two of mine where I talk about it.

It wouldn't keep me from buying a Jeep though.

Nor would I be concerned at all about head unit performance. Heck, I actually admire the comparative simplicity of my Uconnect3. Then again, I don't want the distraction of an HVAC-embedded tablet on the dashboard, either. :)

I think this is a challenge for the Jeep Community and Stallantis as a whole.

I think we need to make a counter video and compare it to a similar Stellantis vehicle.

The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid.
