Sweet wheels. Those will look great!

I don't get the misinformation about 35s on a rubicon. Why isn't it just understood that yes you can with no mods or no you can't. My understanding, as in I don't have any rubbing with my 35s on stock suspension, is that YES you can. It frustrates me because the last time I had INDOMINUS in the service dept at my local dealership and had major issues with how crappy of a job they were doing I actually spoke directly to the OWNER of the dealership. When he called me to discuss the ineptitude of his service department, he started the conversation with,"so what mods have you done to your JL?" I said only wheels and tires man. He followed up with,"you haven't added a lift?" I told him nah man sorry to disappoint you, but I haven't potentially voided my warranty with an aftermarket lift. Then he wanted to know what tires I put in and I told him 35s. Of course he then says,"well how did you do that without a lift? How bad is the rubbing?" We argued about this for just a few minutes until he quickly did his own research while we were on the phone and he sadly had to acknowledge he had no idea JLRs are made to handle 35s without rubbing. This was just 6 weeks ago, btw...

You should be happy with that. I’ve got those in 17x9, but with 33s and a 2.5” lift. I love it.

I agree with you. It's a pretty simple question that is hard for a lot of people to answer. I have been told my trainers that they will hold 35's with no problem. Obviously wheel offset will make a difference. I can't wait to put them on. Hopefully by Wednesday.

$300 for each wheel. $400 for each tire. $475 for reinforcement. Then the rest is labor. I paid $10 over cost for each wheel and tire, and $10 over cost for reinforcement. The rest is labor. Every website I priced those wheels, and tires at had me at the same cost.
Have you already paid? Discount tire is where I got my estimates. I paid $210 per wheel and $330 per tire. Tax and labor were separate.

I did do a quote with them, and they were actually a little more.

I just realized you went with 18's and not 17's. That's where the price difference exists. The prices you paid are inline with others for a 35 by 18 setup

I thought it was. I did some research with other tire/wheel dealers, and they were all the same. I work for a CDJR dealer, and just ordered here for convenience.

So out of curiosity. Why 18's over 17's?

Well, I don't like 20's on a Jeep. We've put 18's on several Jeeps here that we've sold. That extra inch makes it look better, in my opinion. Of course, we all would like to have an extra inch, lol. Seriously, I just like the looks of 18's over 17's. Just preference.

You're getting Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35,x12.50 R18's for $280 each? Better than me. Our cost was $390 a tire. Cheapest I found online was $350. Where did you get them, and I'll order from them?

Actually R17's. But yes 280.00 from a dealer on a FB page.

That's inline with online prices. Apparently moving up to 18's cost more.
