I had some 315 Patagonias in my Simple Tire cart for like a week but just couldn't pull the trigger on em, even though I was going to get their health care worker discount plus a mobile coupon code. Amazon had the Mastercraft Courser MXTs 315s for 197 each but the price jumped to 236.99, and I was all set to order them when I checked the price on the Cooper SST PROs (which were my first choice but I was trying to be cheap so I could buy wheels too, haha). Amazon had the 315/70-17s on sale yesterday for 229 each, so I ordered 5 right then! Free shipping and I wasn't charged sales tax, so the set of 5 actually came out 40 bucks cheaper than the Pats would have! Can't beat that deal. I noticed they jumped up to 244 today, but that's still a deal, since everywhere else still has them for 314. Keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get the dreaded right pull with them that a few people are talking about.

I posted some pics in another thread, haha! I’m happy to say there is ZERO pulling. Right now there are at 35psi cold and they drive awesome. I’m not sure if it’s the tires or the extra weight on all corners but it’s also some helped with the wandering issue. I’m 1000% happy with the Coopers! Sure they are a little nosier than the KO2s but it’s hardly noticeable.

Have you been on the highway without doors? I'm on the fence for MTs because I run topless/doorless more often than I run with the stuff on - usually a couple hours on the highway to get to the trails.

Yeah, I've had the doors off for like 5 days now. No issues at all! These tires are much quieter than they look like they would be.

I literally had the Patagonias and the Mastercraft Courser MXTs in my cart and just happend to check the price on the Coopers and ordered them instantly! I never catch stuff on sale, haha! I was kinda nervous buying tires off Amazon but they were on my porch in less than a week.

What's the difference between the 315/70/17 vs the 35x12.50x17s other manufacturers have? This the tire you got?

Really dig the look and if you're telling me these pop up sometimes for $229 each that's nuts. May have to go with them if you can point me where that sale price occurs!

I think the 315s and 35s all measure pretty similarly. The Mastercrafts were 197 and then jumped up to 234. My SST Pros were shipped from Priority tire through Amazon. They jumped up to 243 the next day, and it looks like they are back up to 314 now. I literally watched tire prices fluctuate for a month before I ordered them! I was going to order the Pats that day. I'm glad I checked
