If it's any consolation, Jeep announcing yesterday that the XR package will now be available on 2 door Wranglers should give you some hope that XR might come to the Gladiator in 25 or 26.

Nah...I want the motor....now if they put that new High output Hurricane motor in the Glad then they might get my money. If not I'll probably just swap my JL motor for something fun.

And then in 2025 they offer the hurricane inline 6, and power wise it blows the 392 out of the water, and then anybody who bought the final edition 392 because they thought was going to be the last of its kind, immediately regrets their decision...? ?

That's the nature of the business. Why offer the best, and not then come out with better. Wanna keep people on the hook, offer something better than the best next year.

Apples and Oranges, right? I mean a V8 is all about how it goes about its power. I’m a huge fan of the straight six layout and turbo charging, but just because it will make more power doesn’t mean it’s more desirable to some folks, me included. The SRT 392 Hemi will always be special.

I have a 24 392 with 7K on it, and I've been fighting off temptation to order another one, proof that this whole last call nonsense has psychological effect.

Sounds to me like your butt hurt you're not going to be the fastest Wrangler on the block anymore.

But hey at least you're not buying a final edition 392, which probably is no different than yours other than a plaque, maybe a little extra trim, All for a cool $20,000 more than you paid for yours a couple years ago. ;)

Btw, it's just a single turbo in our EcoDiesels.

@Tredsdert - you’ve had 8 hrs to think of a comeback

Sorry, I got some bad news yesterday when I got home and ended up going for a 2 hour drive to my favorite chill spot and back, had a nice big glass of everclear and orange juice, and headed to bed early. ?

Honestly I bought my 3.0 V6 EcoDiesel turbo namely because there's no emissions testing in Texas on diesels. Which basically means I can do pretty much anything I want to my vehicle and not pay any penalties for it.

The better MPGs and low end torque are just some added bonuses. I understand it's not fast compared to fast vehicles, but it's still fun to drive. And hey, I could probably do a 14 second quarter mile at 110 mph, which is only about a second slower than yours. How much did you pay for your 392 again? :CWL:

You couldn’t resist rubbing in the smog BS I gotta put up with, Ouch. If not for it my NA V8 could be simply tuned to T-6 levels without a cam or TB, injectors, headers, etc etc as I am like to do……. My 21 was 77.6K , to be fair add 4K for the XR pkg (about what it cost me for gears and tires), a new one like it is 98K, the special editions will naturally be higher, add obscene mark ups , higher shipping, confiscatory Ca sales tax and license. Hell, I got at least a third off if not closer to half off with ADM’s ? I compared a diesel before buying, I was waiting for diesel production to start when the V8 rumors started. One optioned as close as possible was just under 68K, add lift and beadlock capable cost and the difference was about 5K. Disclaimer— if I went diesel I would not have gotten every damn bell, whistle, nannie, and option the 392 has standard. ? Oh yea- I see Livernois has a tune with a CARB EO number. Perhaps a bright spot upon warranty expiration. ? still think the cute little T-6 is the greatest thing since sliced bread ?

Agree nothing will ever sound as good as the 392 period! I don't need anymore power the 392 is the best Jeep I could have asked for.

The TRX Final Editions have numbered plagues on the center console. I expect the Jeeps will as well. Not sure why people get excited about this stuff though.
it’s an opportunity to spend more money lol
