Fender Liners (no lift)

Looking at adding fender liners to my JLUR. I’ve got 35” Nitto’s but no lift and would prefer to keep the original fenders. Has anyone done something similar and should I anticipate any issues? Really like the look of the DV8’s.

Any advice and pics would be greatly appreciated!

I thought about doing it so I could split my fenders and run 35’s without a lift.
