How long has it been taking to receive JLRU? Ordered on 2-18-18 and still waiting. Order has been in shipping status for 24 days. Who determines shipping the load, dealer or factory? Sounds like one of them have there heads..... well you know where.

From what I have been paying attention to, 2 months from order to delivery isn't uncommon. I would call your dealer and see if they can push and find out what is going on. It sounds like it is built, so the LED and the soft top shouldn't be an issue at this point. I have heard 2-3 months as far as wait times, but have heard of people getting the JLs delivered in as little as 3 weeks. Being in California, your wait time will be longer (meaning 8-12 weeks) because they are going to be shipping it by rail.

I ordered 2.5 weeks ago and I am already getting impatient, so I feel your pain. All I can do is wait. Call your dealer. They should be able to provide more information than anyone else.

Just check the order tracking threads. There are many folks (myself included) who ordered well before you did and are still waiting. Some aren’t built, some are in storage, some are in transit and some have them. Parts shortages, rail car shortages, storage lot backups all make it just luck of the draw right now.

The factory ships to a local holding yard, and then they are trucked to the dealer from there. You could be waiting for a train to fill up before it ships to the holding yard. Once it is off the train and in a lot, the dealer works to get it to the dealership. Usually, it is just scheduled to be picked up already.

That is my understanding of the process. I have heard of people being stuck in the holding yards for a long period of time, and I have heard of people being told their Wranglers are going to be shipped from the factory, only to get a call from their dealer saying it is in the dealership, ready to be picked up. If I were in your shoes, I would call my salesperson.
