Falcon Terraflex 2.1 for DD

I’ve been unable to find any reviews or feedback on these shocks. I’m looking mainly for DD and improving handling / body roll and stability. However, if they make the car worse on trails than stock I may re-think getting them and stay stock.

Anyone have any feedback?

We put a st2 kit with the 2.1 shocks on my sisters 2016 jku and it drives and handles way better then before. I know the jl is a different beast but that’s what I’m planning on going with. I was skyptical but I am honestly blown away at the difference it made.

They will definitely be firmer than stock shocks. I have a Sport S and I went from stock to Rubicon takeoff shocks and springs. They are noticeably firmer than Sport suspension. Later, I put on the 1.5" spacer leveling kit with Falcon 2.1 (ST1 with rubicon springs). They are even firmer than Rubicon suspension. Better or worse is a subjective opinion that differs from one individual to another. I knew what I was getting so I expected a firm ride.

I dropped the tire pressure 2 psi and it rides fine on pavement. As far as trials, I have not had a chance to but I do not think I would be disappointed. They look good and beefy that is for sure.

I would recommend the complete kit if you can swing it. TeraFlex ST1 kit. Whether going with +1 on tires or not down the road, you will have that option. It will level out the stock stance (neutral) depending on your vehicle, better handling. I have a 2 door, that had the reverse rake. I would have to say it pronounced the braking/abrupt braking dive. Absolutely no complaints, with mine. 1700 miles logged on the ST1 kit so far, currently with 37 KM3s. Finally got the pressures to where I want it, 31psi. Im attacking the daily grind roads faster and with more confidence than when it was stock, Jl 2dr rubicon. Not the cheapest setup out there for what it is, but zero regrets.

I ran Falcon 2.1s with a 2.5 RK Xfactor lift on 37s for around 400miles. No issues and was pretty happy with the setup. They're high quality and definitely worth the upgrade.

I just recently found a set of 3.3s locally and just upgraded.

Would you say the ride was more firm and less body roll? The JL drives very comfortable but the body roll makes me less confident in the handiling.

I just recently found a set of 3.3s locally and just upgraded.

Just using stock suspension as the most I plan to do is running 33’s potentially in future but keeping ride high stock is important as my dogs are getting older and have a hard time getting in the back. The per steps I have work for stock height as well.

I found a installer that’s only charging $120 for them installed so I could always switch back to stock if I had too. I really just want less body roll and better handling and I heard the 2.1 do that plus are better on the trail?

Definitely less body roll and better handling. I only had them on for 1.5months and didn't get to wheel with them. I just sold them to a guy running a sahara on 35s and a 2.5" budget boost. I can ask him how he likes them after they're installed.
