FAD wiring harness?

I have a 2019 JL Wrangler Rubicon (2 door) and late last year something snagged on the wire that connects to the FAD module. I plugged it back in and it still works but I would like to replace the plug as it is a little mangled from dragging over rocks on the rubicon for a short time. I can't seem to locate what the part number for the harness with the FAD connector plug anywhere. Could someone weigh in here on what to do? or what the part number is. Thanks!

So I broke my fad connector doing a lift install today. Is this the part I need?

Yes, if the connector and pins are broken/bent this is the part you need. Check your Locker harness too (you probably had that unplugged already).

I don't have a locker since I have a sport. Still the same part needed?

Thank you. I really appreciate it. I was bummed out when I broke that yesterday and it was to modify something else after I was already putting stuff back together.

Here is what comes in the kit, the connector and wires to splice into your harness. Took picture of part number too so you can make sure you get right one. It's about $65 if I remember correctly. This is in my kit now for the Jeep which is why I have a spare.

Is the connection side on the FAD module okay? Mine actually cracked there too and I ended up having that replaced since water was getting into the connection and long story short was throwing error codes and created all sorts of issues when I was out on the trails... So check that out.

Luckily fad side looks ok. Thanks a lot for the info and help. I'll be ordering the part if I can't find it locally. It's about $65 shipped online. Doubt a dealer will be cheaper.

Did you break the old connector open and solder the new wires to what was inside the old connector? I haven't taken apart this kind of connector before.

You are essentially cutting the harness wires, pulling/unwinding the black wrap back a ways and splicing in the new wires to the harness wires. The pins just insert into the new connector and reinstall the connector housing (right-angle piece) and plug into the FAD. Get yourself some high quality wire wrap to wrap after you shrink wrap the splice since the factory wrap won't cover the new wire.

so I ended up ordered 5 of those for $20 shipped. I believe it is the same one as the mopar part and it is assembled so you just need to splice it with the old wires.

ill let you know if I get it and it works. Also I'll have a few extra in case anyone else needs one.
