Hey all - I ordered a 2020 Sahara and something I've wondered that I don't know if it has been discussed is what fixes has JEEP made to the Wrangler since it began production for 2018. I know some say don't buy the first model year as they make tweaks and corrections during the first few years.

Not sure if they admit or say what they correct, but does anyone know what tweaks (fixes) have been done? I assume the steering, but not sure if that is accurate (I hope it is with a new one coming lol).

Steering obviously, they had some very very early ones that had not perfect welds but that was a very limited run that had those, on most of the first off the line were had the over head SOS/seat belt indicator didn't' line up in its bracket correctly, thats about all I can think of off the top of my head

Does anyone know exactly what was the steering fix? What component was changed/modified, and when in the production run did Jeep start including the fix?

Do a little research on the steering stabilizer recall. You'll never be able to find out the exact date when the line switched from part A to part B

Yeah I'm not a fan of that steering stabilizer approach though. If there are steering issues - trying to handle it with basically a steering shock absorber is a band-aid approach. How does that fix wandering/imprecise steering other than kind of mask it. I was hoping maybe Jeep had some steering box modification or component fix for the JL steering issues.

There is an updated steering box (68250506AE) and track bar (68394087AA).
