It would seem that a market might exist for not simply acquiring a cargo cover to secure the cargo contents below from both prying eyes and becoming a missile in a short stop, but strapped securely down, becoming a platform upon which heavy items could be placed on top of.

Has anyone seen such creations, even if currently only for models before the JL?

I get how a cargo box provides this, but it doesn't "stuff under the front seat" if the full cargo floor to ceiling space is needed.

Thanks.

Thanks. Looks like great stuff that's easily removable, but not compressible: meaning that when your on the road and need the space it takes up for odd shaped gear, that you need to find a place for such cargo dividers.

Sigh;) Maybe I can use this idea with the Mrs. to buy me a Gobi to store said cargo dividers on top of when I need this space.

I really like the Diabolical Inc. Slipstream cover but don't know the actual release date or ship date nor the price. Also I read that all it takes to get into a security cover is to press the unlock button on the door to allow opening the rear door. The other alternative is a large lock box but this will cover the access to whats stored under the box in the small built in storage area.
I'm still searching for alternatives.

There will be three cargo covers available soon. The first is the Tuffy Security Deck Cover (available for the hard top but not the soft top yet), the second is the Diabolical Inc. Slipstream (no ship date given) and the third is the Backbone (also not yet available for the soft top).
All three are pricey at $425 for the Tuffy, $700 for the Slipstream and $700 for the Backbone.
Only concerns are the Tuffy and Slipstream have hinged covers that are also removable whereas the Backbone is somewhat permanent. Also all three can be accessed by simply pushing the door unlock button.
I'm still looking for alternatives.

Could maybe check out Truck Vault. They are more drawer system vs cover, but they are a lot more secure than the other options listed.

I was considering them to be able to have a good secure location for any firearms and other gear in the back

I like the Diabolical solution but there is no info on the company. No address, email or phone number listed on the site. Anyone know how to contact them. To pre-order they say to check out with a 0.00 item...fine...but then it tries to add $49 in shipping. Very odd.
Find them on Facebook. You can send the owner a PM through Messenger. He responds quickly. The $49 if I remember correctly is basically shipping, but more or less a pre-order fee. When the are ready to ship, he will send a coupon code the deduct that amount from the price.
