My JLU is about to hit 50k, and I want to change the transmission fluid. But I am wondering if doing so will void the extended warranty?
Has anyone had an experience this? The only reason I even thought twice about it is every video I saw of someone doing it the Mopar gasket they get from the dealer to replace old gaskets looks to be a different color than the stock one. Which makes me believe they do this on purpose to quickly see which transmissions have been opened. Which, of course, asks the question why they would care about such a thing? To quickly and effectively void warranties maybe?
If this isn't the right place to ask this I am sorry. Also, I am planning on calling the Mopar Max Care number that I was given to ask this question. However, I also wanted to see if anyone had done the fluid change on it then later had issues they had to bring it in for warranty and what did they say.
