What are your goals? Power, sound, clearance?

I did my exhaust purely for clearance, used the MPRB muffler delete. Doesn’t sound bad, not amazing, but tolerable and still fun, but it got rid of the trash can of a muffler under the tub….which was my only goal.

If you want clearance, I’d find a kit that puts the muffler forward of the axle. Have the dump over top of the axle, or if you don’t care about inspections, just before it.

I really like the sound of the Borla, but the extra $500-$600 for their kit just isn’t worth it for the modest increase in exhaust note quality over the muffler delete. There’s still a resonator upstream, so almost all of the crackle is eliminated, and it’s still not terribly loud.

The 4xe system has a couple more constraints on upstream mufflers, I swapped to the MBRP delete purely for clearance. It's tolerable most of the time, but pulled my off road camper to Texas last weekend and it drove me nuts with the rasp/drone at downshift/high RPM pulls.

The MF Overland axle back appears to be an option and supposedly it tucked up even with the muffler and resonator in the stock location.

I was checking out MBRP Armor lite cat back exhaust YouTube. Actually I like this one high clearance . I wish I could hear in person.

I was looking for clearance and a bit more sound. I found what I liked at Borla and purchased a #140822 "Climber" cat back system.

I installed it two years ago and have done a lot of city and highway driving. There is little to no drone and I like hearing that 2.0L T 4 cylinder.

I don't have it but some people have spoken highly of the AWE trail as well. High tuck design etc.

I have the Borla Touring exhaust and it sounds great. Not a bad price ($589)and it eliminates the stock muffler too.

Depends on what you're looking for sound wise, but since you have a turbo which is by default quieting the exhaust just replace the muffler with a straight pipe.

Another happy Borla Touring Climber cat-back owner here. Clearance was my main goal. No drone, subtle bass tone, and stainless construction that doesn't rust over from wet and salty environments are bonuses.
