I am not clear on what you are referring to, but going to take a stab at it.

normal suspension upgrades (I.e. cannot speak to long ar or coilover conversions) have no clearance issues with the exhaust.

since the exhaust attaches to the frame, i have no idea where / how a lift could need anything done to the exhaust.

i did a 3.5 on my ‘19 Sahara, and have 2” on my ‘21 Rubicon.

give us more info on where you were worried about the exhaust & what lift you were thinking about.

It seemed the JKs exhaust was in a bind after lifting. The 2" spacer helped that. Maybe it was just marketing or an unrealized issue, either way, for 30 bucks it seemed worthwhile. We only did it on the 15, not the 08. Likely not an issue

It was used on the JL to keep the exhaust from getting hit by the stock front driveshaft with larger lifts.
