Hey all
So my check engine light went on just prior to hitting 500 miles in my high altitude 4XE. Disappeared. He decided to show his ugly face again at around 1100 miles now, so I decided to take it in. Local dealership, one of the tops in the country, says everything seems to check out OK. They are chalking it up to a software issue. Software updated, they are taking it for a drive, and I anticipate picking it up within the next few hours.
I know there have been plenty of reports about the CEL going on in the new 4XE.
I’m curious if anybody has other information to share, specifically if particular issues have been identified relaying to the CEL.
