OK, This has been a topic for a while on the Fusion 4x4 / ECGS 40 spline axle setups. Bottom line is the handle doesn't have enough throw to fully pull the cables tight.
I just did the range industries E brake kit on my 40 spine axle. Ours use the 08/09 14 bolt breaks and the kit is set up for the 99/07. It only took a couple small tweaks to get it to work and now I can't drive through the brakes trying to.
Had to open one of the holes on each mount for the ABS sensor.
I will say that depending on your wheels it may not clear. I had to smooth the calipers to get my Racelines back on.
Parts list I used on my JL.
- Range offroad kit - https://range-industries.com/produc...-brake-epb-kit-99-07-gm-14-bolt-aam-10-5-11-5
-Grimm offroad brake line - They didn't fit right and had to modify. I recommend finding lines with normal banjo fittings and not angled ones.
-2023 Tahoe rear calipers with actuators and pads. - Sourced from good ol' Rock auto.
