Electronic Brake

I own a 2020 JLU Rubicon and it has the towing package that includes the 7 pin wiring. Do I need something else for electronic brakes to tow a trailer or am I set with the 7 pin. Thanks

I don't have the tow package on my Jeep but I do know that the 7 pin connector have the ability to handle an electronic brake controller, if wired for it. Not sure how they are set up on our Jeeps from the factory. Someone surely has one and will verify.

Yes, you will need a trailer brake controller to operate the trailer brakes
