This morning, as I was accelerating smartly from a red light, I made an observation. The power characteristics of the 3.0 are 180° opposite that of the 3.6. The EcoDiesel goes gangbusters from a dead stop but begins to (sorta) start to gasp for air around the 2nd/3rd shift. The Pentastar is lethargic off the line but comes into its own by the time 3rd gear is engaged.

All of that said, the seat-of-the-pants feel is heavily in favor of the diesel.

Thats why I went with the 2.0 turbo over the v6. Even with 38's and over 4" of lift, my Rubi has pep from idle all the way up to 90mph, before it starts asking me what the hell are you doing? It still has stock 4.10's, and a regear isn't even on the radar.
