So here's how mine looked after a couple of years.
After pulling the bumper off, I washed and scuffed the rust with sandpaper, then used the Rustoleum textured paint mentioned previously in this thread. It looks very close in shade and texture to the factory finish on my son's OEM Rubi steel bumper. I painted the Quadratec skid plate too just to black everything out, and painted the towhooks orange like the Mojave, since I put the Mojave wheel and shifters in mine - it looks pretty cool with the Mojito.
And here's how it looks reinstalled. I finished it up a few weeks ago, forgot to update this thread.
