I have a high-amperage-circuit "Anderson" 175 Amp connector ( Amazon Anderson Connector) mounted there which runs from my under-hood (yes, on my 392! This is interesting in its own discussion!) Genesis dual battery controller, which is controlled by a high-amperage relay (500-AMP Relay) activated by one of my OEM AUX switches. This relay also controls/isolates power to my winch. The "thingy" is mounted to a skid from Metal Cloak ( JL Wrangler Tow Wiring Skid Plate) which looks just like the OEM skid protecting the OEM trailer connectors.
