In my 2019 when I was in drive it would also note what gear my automatic was in as I drove. In my 2025, it notes and the normal P,R,N, D, but when in Drive this one doesn’t note what gear I’m in as I’m driving. Is there a setting that I can change that will show what gear when in D?

In the driver information center (DIC) there’s an option to enable/disable the gear number. Have a look with your steering wheel controls.

Changing that particular display setting is also explained in the Owner's Manual. That's how I activated the current gear being displayed on the center TFT screen, even when not using the AutoStick function.

On many recent Jeep Wrangler models, the gear engaged is no longer displayed continuously in normal Drive mode as on some 2019 models. Generally, it only appears in manual/autostick mode or during more dynamic gear changes.
