I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. it was a first for me.
Was the drill bit in a rear tire? If so......it probably was kicked up with the front tire and, unfortunately, at the wrong place before coming to final rest inside your tire.

Also.....adding a possum or raccoon bone into the mix, as well as a pair of pliers, handle first, as objects found in tires when I worked counter sales at an S&S Tire in Lexington, Ky a few years ago.

Many years ago I had a 1974 Camaro, I manage to have a hair brush handle flatten one of my tires. It was fairly blunt so how the heck it penetrated the tire I'll never know, but by far one of the oddest things Ive ever had puncture a tire.

Yes it was the rear. Had to replace the KO2 for $350. Had 8000 miles on it.

My wife seems to have magnetism to drywall screws in her car. I'm usually a nail guy. But many years ago, I found a 5/8" bolt in a tire. Big damn hole!
