Door retaining screws

Does anyone leave these off,when reinstalling doors?

I only use them in the winter when I will not be routinely removing the doors.

Thanks lowmpg,just wondering if it would hurt or damage anything running without them, i over-tightened one and broke the threads on one

Many people don't use those bolts. I'm sure someone will say something about it being unsafe during side collisions or rollovers or whatever. But many people don't use them and I have yet to hear any sort of story about it becoming an issue.
