Is there a way to adjust the door at the top without dicking around with the hinges? Driver side is a little off. The passenger side is flush all the way up.

Thanks for any help.

There is no adjustment. Your top is likely the culprit here, not the door.

The way we did it at the dealer:
1.) Roll the window down
2.) With door open, put your knee at the belt molding at rear of door and pull outward on the door window frame at the the top rear of the frame.

I never did this in front of the customer. This also how they do it at the assembly plant.

Haha... this is the most "Dealer-esque" thing I've read today.

What is the belt molding?

Belt molding is the plastic/rubber molding on the outside of the door at the bottom of the window opening.

If there is a rattle or noise inside the door on closing it is most likely a loose beam. This is common on the JL.

I have this same issue. How did you move the top into alignment? I have tried moving it but it doesn’t seem to work. Thanks in advance!
