OEM Rubi steel bumper. Does anyone make steel hoops that hug the turn signal housings when the bumper tips are removed? A little extra protection would be nice, and the mounting points are already there.

What exactly are you planning on running into that would make this make sense? The end caps come off to make approach angles to the tires better so that stuff is below the fender and anything above that the wings wouldnt matter.

With bumper end caps off for better approach angle, the plastic bumper ends are now exposed to whatever the better approach angle was needed for.

So are you worried about 1 or 2 there? The fog lights should be surrounded by more steel at 1 and 2 the fenders you are very unlikely to ever hit them with something the bumper would protect, usually youre gonna be more worried about rocks that stick out, or walls that you are riding against and your tires dont push out past your fenders enough.

I’ve seen a full brush guard like that on a JK and it looked pretty terrible. That’s just my opinion which you didn’t ask for.

They also tend to bend and deform and cause more damage.

Unless you plan on installing a wrap around brush guard type bumper, there isn't anything that I've ever seen for what you are asking.

Well, he said turn signal so I am assuming #2 in the photo. I don't know how much it would help to mount a guard to the plastic fender and I think if you mounted something to the hood or the grill and actually hit something then it would be way more expensive than bashing the turn signal. Plus it would be ugly.

He was saying mounting from the bumper because the holes were already there which I cant see how it would work, or anything you would realistically be afraid of hitting that this theoretical guard would protect from.

Real head scratcher here.

I didn't think of coming up from the bumper. Ha! There would be a lot of leverage into the bumper if you hit something with those.
I put it in the same camp as the angry grill because I don't think there would be any practical protection...just something to look different.
