Sounds like you've thought it through and I can't fault your logic, especially if you like the wheels for your vehicle.

Glad someone else mentioned the TPMS...I just ran into that same situation in reverse...bought a 2022 and swapped the custom rims (with 2018 TPMS) onto the 2022 and a week later started getting Pressure warnings. Check out @AllMoparParts.com for good pricing on the OEM sensors. I bought the 2022 version of the OEM sensors from them for considerably less than Discount Tire was showing on their website for their sensors, and then Discount Tire still swapped them in for me when I provided them.

I think I spy the 4xE blue badging in the center of the rim. Idk if it being a 4xE rim is a compatibility concern though.
Nothing special about 4Xe wheels, they will fit with no issues. The good thing for 2024 is that the blue isn’t on the wheel, just the center cap. He can use his current center caps.

i got a quote from discount for $168 to do the swaps on the sensors, just trying to figure out now if its actually worth it to do the all in cost or just keep waiting
California be wild. When I had my sensors swapped to a set of takeoffs it was $100. 10/tire 10 tires.

As far as lug placement, it's not. Same axles, same lug spacing and pattern. Just a blue Jeep instead of a red or black Jeep.

sheesh.. these are marked as less than 100 miles for 1,000 all 5.

5 new tires (need 5 because i want to go up in size from 245/75r17 to the 285/70r17) is 1700 for purchase plus install.

My thought process is $1,000 for 5 tires and better looking 2024 4xe rims, 200(rounded up round trip) for gas and 168-200 for all TPMS from current tires to new. so $1400 all in then Sell the old rims + spare tire and the 2024 sensors for a little cash back possibly.

LA has take offs but charge out the ass for new or want 1200-1400 for 10k miles plus and dont want to negotiate it seems.

They are listed they have them, so I'm assuming they do but I imagine i cant check without the tires being unmounted right? but yes i will have to put the ones from my current tires in because i have a 2018 JL sport
