So in my quest to find some headliners to absorb road noise and Heat I saw the Hothead Headliners and noticed its just Insulation foam on board for almost 400$. So I got to thinking of making my own. Anyone actually try to do their own? The cost of materials doesn't seem too bad. Seems to put me under 100 bucks easily.

Here is what I'm thinking I'd need:

Neoprene Sponge Foam
Headliner Fabric Automotive
Dense Board

It doesn't smell much, no. I use the off-brand stuff. Put it UNDER the trim/cover, so it's hidden.

Do you have pics? Did you dynomat the whole ceiling?
Oh I didn't do this yet. Debating whether or not I want to spend the money on the headliner covers. I have a bunch of leftover dynamat already though.
