Direct body-mount sliders

Does anyone know of a company that makes something like this for the JL? The one pictured is only for the JK. I miss the old TJ style rails like this with the super high clearance and body protection at a lighter weight. Is there a reason no one really does this style anymore?

I'd guess most of them are tired of punching the aluminum tub to crap when the armor only had one job.

Pretty well documented even though you'll see countless people stand up for that design in this thread. JK's and TJ's are all different design with the steel tubs.

In a bunch of places. Reinforced by steel in certain places. The areas not reinforced usually get pushed in pretty bad when they take an impact with armor.

I've seen enough people have that issue that I went frame mounted.
