That was just a start to the list. There is plenty more. The biggest POS is the FAD. When you lose a wheel speed sensor you have NO 4wd. And there is no bypass for it other then climbing under the Jeep and removing the FAD to manually lock the axle.
Ever seen a YJ? You think they just created the FAD out of nowhere? The fad is one component, and is easily deleted.

I’m not sure why you’re so aggressively argumentative about this. That clearly isn’t a list of ACC faults. It’s random electrical failures, being listed as ACC faults.
No aggression. Just providing a few examples to respond to your comment that " Advanced safety options are options that do not effect reliability in any way." These extra JL options can malfunction and if they do, that impacts reliability.

Read the details of what you posted. It’s just misinformation. Also, you can just opt to not have those features, or turn them off. The existence of ACC didn’t cause any of those failures.

Yes I’ve seen a YJ and Ram trucks amount others they are vacuum actuated and easy to delete. The JL FAD is electronic and tied into the electronics. Even when you get under your Jeep and bypass it manually you still aren’t bypassing the electronics so lockers won’t work etc. believe me I’ve dealt with that all last winter with a bad wheel speed sensor. I have bypass kits to get rid of the FAD permanently but you still need to program the FAD delete.

I have a friend that had her 2020 Wrangler in the shop for a month from transmission damage directly related to a malfunctioning ACC. I think you are missing the point to this entire thread. We are simply talking about additional reliability risks that the JL has that you didn't have to worry about in the JK. Unless you were one of the JL engineers, please don't take it personally.

I don't believe it.

It just doesn't ring true.

ACC is just cruise control with radar to vary the requested speed.

Make it all add up.
If you think that’s all ACC is, “you have no business popping the hood on any modern vehicle.”

That is what ACC is. Adaptive Cruise Control. It's cruise control, with radar. Explain how it caused transmission damage.

^ This, but don't forget the weak point of the front axle is where the axle tube joins into the FAD casting. 9/10 times it's the weakest point on the front axle. I am just not a fan of the FAD in general. Seems like a bunch of minimal gains for a bunch of added headaches in my opinion.
