Diesel Fuel Pump Recall

@JeepCares I am having problems getting my fuel pump replaced on my 2020 JLU Diesel. I have supposedly been on a list with Findlay in Post Falls Idaho for over a year and they keep pushing the date that they say they can get this done. Now they are claiming im not even on a list yet. This is completely unnaceptable as this vehicle is routinely used in the middle of nowhere and a fuel pump failure on the types of trails it runs would be catastrophic. How am I supposed to get this fixed in a timely fashion?

Your VIN will note if you should have the recall. If you use the Jeep app, it will show it. but you can also put your VIN number in the DOT website and it will confirm if your jeep requires the recall or not.

I've not heard of any diesels that DIDN"T need the recall. My Utah dealer told me the replacement pumps are readily available as of late last summer.

Ive tried different dealers, one never got back to me the other is about 3 months out. I bought the Jeep from Findlay and they have literally been telling me just a few weeks more for months to now say today im not even on the list. @JeepCares really needs to look into this as it's happening to members in my club. Pretty sure they are stealing parts so they can sell Jeeps they have on the lot at this point its just ridiculous!

Just updating this to say Jeep Cares took care of this for me! They called Dishman Jeep and got me in within a week. This is how recalls should be done after being out for 3 years…

I am on three different lists with my 21 JLURD, finally receiving an appointment for tomorrow. Still have to get my 21 JTOD on a list now too.

I was on a "list" with 3 different dealers. The local one(5 min away) was over a year and a half, the far away one was 6 month wait and the dealer 20 minutes away was less than a week.
