After reading several threads, I finally got comfortable that the slipstream was worth the premium price over other options, such as the tuffy storage. But looks like I took too long researching and the price bumped up higher to $1200.

Just curious, is anyone still in at that price point?

For transparency, I am all for a business getting what their product is worth. So I am not complaining, and I hope Diabolical continued success, especially because it's a really nice product. Just wondering if this pushed anyone else to other storage options or if there's other thoughts/considerations that I may not be taking?

I love my slipstream but just wow. That price would give me pause. I bought like 6 months ago and it was like $250 more than previous prices but not near this level. I bit bullet as I needed security box to work with Top Lift Pro. Note they do coupons all the time. Not a fan on that as I’d just prefer a lower price out of the box but is what it is. Just keep eyes open for sales. They have a FB page where they announce coupons. I do love their products. Quality stuff for sure. Be assured of that.

$1200!?!? Wow.

I have the Slipstream and absolutely love it because I have my top down and doors off for as much as possible and my Jeep is my DD/Costco run vehicle.

But that is crazy money. But yeah, I’d most likely get it again at that price.

Considering raw materials in my business have gone up 35% to 60% in the past year, it's not surprising the Slipstream is going for $1200 list price (look for discount codes/sales, as mentioned). That said, there is no viable alternative for 4xe owners, although Tuffy has a less robust kit for less money for non-4xe Wranglers. The Slipstream is a quality kit and I utilize it all the time so there is value...we have to pay to play.

As much as I like my Slipstream, I'm actually a bigger fan of their slide floor (I have both). $1200 would be tough, but it is quality stuff and I am happy I have them.

Appreciate all the replies. Thx for the pics @RagTopDeluxe

@Bmeister I think you're spot on, this is no doubt a function of supply chain, inflation, passing the cost along to consumer. Which makes sense and is valid.

Unfortunately, while I am super grateful that my family does pretty well, my salary definitely hasn't increased 35%+ to keep up with rising costs. And I know we're all in that same boat.
