DFW area question

I am currently the Vice President of Lone Star Jeep Club. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions regarding our club.

Here's some background info on LSJC:
Lone Star Jeep Club is a family oriented, DFW based club, made up entirely of Jeep owners. LSJC was established in August 1997. The club was originally started by a few local Jeep owners and has grown over the years to be one of the largest clubs in Texas. The Lone Star Jeep Club holds events throughout the year and in different parts of the Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas area; this allows all of our members to attend events in their area.

We have our forum over at https://boards.lsjc.org/ and we also have a Facebook group setup at https://www.facebook.com/groups/LoneStarJeepClub/.

We put on many events throughout the year, from wheeling events, to 101/beginner training events, to meetups, to Summer party, Christmas party, and we even have a day where we get to set up out at the State Fair of Texas in the car corral. We are the only Jeep club in Texas that gets to do this!
We have a Member Meeting every 2nd Thursday @ 7pm in Lewisville at Huffines Jeep Dodge Ram. Here we discuss club business, upcoming events, etc. Although this is a members meeting it is also open to the public. So even if you are not currently a member of LSJC please drop in and meet some of our members and find out a little more about LSJC.

Following the meeting, we usually hang around and talk "Jeep stuff" over at the Service Dept. parking lot.

I've taken delivery and love it. Bought it as a 3rd car but haven't driven my primary since. Huge improvement in daily use over the JK. We'll be joining the LSJC shortly!

Meeting starts at 7 and usually lasts about an hour. After the meeting there is a free class that people can stay and attend if they want to. This weeks class is First Aid for the trails.

That’s cool. Not very familiar with any of them. Once I get a JL, I’ll probably come see what it’s all about.


Side note: I frickin hate Huffines with a passion. Their Lewisville dealership AND the Plano dealership F’d up my SRT every time they had it. They are completely incompetent. They had to repair wheels 4x b/c they curbed them, they had to repair/repaint my front bumper b/c one of the shop guys used their car mover to push it by the air dam. They had to repaint for scratches another time. The reimbursed me b/c the completely misdiagnosed a “necessary” repair. Seriously the most inept dealerships in the area.
