I have been surprised about reports of some still open or recently closed. Heck, the last Blockbuster closed a year or two ago as I recall. If there still are any around Ca I haven’t seen one in decades. But— you have to drive to them and might even idle to get warm or cool off. There Would Be No Idle restrictions and the prime spaces reserved for EV’s only although Without Chargers— as we have in other locations. ?So old that even your memories outside of the silver screen are in black & white ?
Don't recall going to the drive-in as a kid, but our small town used to have 3 of them until the last one closed just a year or two ago. Always heard that the one was for dirty movies and the other one I didn't start going to until my 20s. Instead, I have fond memories of "be kind, please rewind" from visiting Blockbuster on a Friday night and my parents making us sit in the smoking section of the indoor theater.
