So old that even your memories outside of the silver screen are in black & white ?

Don't recall going to the drive-in as a kid, but our small town used to have 3 of them until the last one closed just a year or two ago. Always heard that the one was for dirty movies and the other one I didn't start going to until my 20s. Instead, I have fond memories of "be kind, please rewind" from visiting Blockbuster on a Friday night and my parents making us sit in the smoking section of the indoor theater.

I have been surprised about reports of some still open or recently closed. Heck, the last Blockbuster closed a year or two ago as I recall. If there still are any around Ca I haven’t seen one in decades. But— you have to drive to them and might even idle to get warm or cool off. There Would Be No Idle restrictions and the prime spaces reserved for EV’s only although Without Chargers— as we have in other locations. ?

Bars, Taverns, Pubs, Nightclubs, Restaurants, sports stadiums, concerts, theaters, inside other buildings, parks, beaches, motel rooms, your apartment, company vehicles and property other than possibly in “designed areas”, rental vehicles, public transportation, Casinos other than “the designated area”, even hospitals….. Although smoking dope is allowed in some of the aforementioned. ? …. Did I mention Bars, Taverns, Nightclubs, and Pubs?

Why don't we all smoke. ?

I was taught to smoke my first day in boot camp. When the DI’s took a smoke break you either went to the shaded break area and sat down to smoke, or stood in the blazing sun waiting. I bummed from a friend the first day, had my own ever since. Just a few a day anymore, but I suffer withdrawals when drinking a cold beer without one. ?‍?

After being in the Jeep for almost 2 years I brought the window sticker in the house “to be safe”, I has safety disappeared and I have extensively searched. Getting old reminders like that one sucks. ? and my note with pin numbers has vanished- see what you have to look forward too. Oops- gotta go, I can’t remember if I closed the garage door. ?

You need to invest in one of thoes smart open/closers. Run it through an app on the phone it will tell you if its open or closed and you can close/open from your phone. Most the time I wait till i see it closed but if i second guess myself it a good peace of mind, since one time a leaf blew under and tripped the sensor and left my door open - vowed for the never again with that gizmo.

I Recall reading that and others about that time. The second to last closing, I think in Alaska. I believe that one has also closed ? Oh well- my house has a built into the wall 8 track/ record player . ??‍

It’s at our house in the foothills, we’re at the father in law’s who recently passed at 93. We’ve been here caregiving him for years or I would.
