On my 2021, I noticed that the time zone would change immediately after I cross the line. I've recently sold the 2021 and upgraded to a 2025 JLUR X. I've noticed that on the 2025, the time zone clock update has a mind of it's own. Sometimes it will update 45 minutes away from the zone line, and sometimes it won't update it until I turn the jeep off and back on again. I ran through the settings and nothing is glaring that gives me an indication of how to fix this. Even if I set the clock manually to the correct time, it will display it wrongly on the display.

Has anybody else run into this issue?

I didn’t know it would do it automatically. I’ve always bumped it up or down an hour manually once I saw the time change on my phone.

Wonder if the time is coming from the cell network or the GPS network.

I would guess GPS.

On the Android Auto screen on the head unit, it will display the phone time, which is correct. Then on the spedometer area, it displays the car time, which is not correct. It gets very confusing knowing which time I'm in when two clocks are displayed at different times!
