JScan for the win. The more mods you make the cheaper it gets :) Tire size, gears, TPMS pressures, etc.

I recently went from 31.5’s to 32.1’s and the speedometer, as compared to gps, was about 1 mph off with my stock tires and spot on with the new ones.

Edit: I have JScan but hadn’t hooked it up to change the tire size yet. I just did and found my Sport is already set to 32” tires. I don’t think you have anything to worry about if you go to 32” tires.

Dealers & manufacturers are a business that have overhead costs & your situation isn't unique to Jeep. You have 3 options to pick from.
Well of course, but with the exorbitant prices we pay for the litany of "Jeep things," poor QA, and lacking support, this is just another issue that makes it difficult to be loyal customer. I respectfully disagree that the Jeep situation isn't unique, as my wheelin' buddies who drive other brands don't have half the issues that we Jeepers have. Yes, our vehicles are often more capable (when everything works), but there's much more to a brand than the product itself, and this is where FCA, Stellantis (or whatever it is today), really lacks. After decades of Jeep ownership, I'm still hanging on, but we'll see how things go with the JL.

Great feedback and thanks for the insight. I had a feeling this might be the case, so it's helpful to understand your experience. Just curious...what brand/model 32" tires are you using?

Yep...looks like I'll probably have to go this way if I upgrade to anything larger than 32". I don't plan on doing any more mods, but I agree that JScan is probably worth it, even for just the tire upgrade. Many thanks.

I went with BFG 255/75/17 KO2’s. I’ve only had them a week but so far I couldn’t be happier with them.
