I have a 2023 392 we bought last July. It has approximately 2,600 miles on it. It gets driven 3-4 times a week but obviously not any real long trips. Twice now, after driving it, the next day I go to it and open the door, my power steps don't deploy and the battery is dead. It won't do anything. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks for any responses.

Could be that the short trips aren't keeping your battery topped off? I would try a trickle charger/battery tender first.

That is probably the solution but I've read once the AGM batteries go dead, they need to be replaced

It's technically possible for an AGM to be discharged enough to fail to start the vehicle without any damage to the battery.

In practice, though, failure to start the vehicle multiple times is an indication the battery is no longer healthy.

Parasitic drain on newer vehicles is bad. Spouse and I work from home. I trickle charge both vehicles at times but not always. Short trips that don't charge the battery which isn't good and I've replaced mine twice in a 2019 model and I've replaced hers twice in a 2022 Honda though the last battery I replaced in hers didn't register the full CCA numbers even when new.

Mine will sit for 3-4 weeks and still start right up. Probably just a bad battery.
