Hello my friend, that may have something to do with a little bit water in the unit since you like go out on "wet" days, and water may penetrated without your notice. One of our customers commented similarly in our group.

It's an electric device after all, so keep it dry

are you now saying the camera can't be installed outside the vehicle?

my issue was happening daily every time i started the car.

It started out on 'wet' as in rainy days, hence why i thought it might have something to do with the problem.

but i don't get rain every day.

i did the factory reset from the settings menu, it helped a bit, but hasn't cured the problem.

I'm talking about the main unit, not the rear cam which is water-proof.

the main unit is in the car.

the only thing outside of it is the camera.

i don't think water is my issue here.

I really enjoy my G900 as well. My only complaint is the ability to use both sun visors fully and having the ACC box in the recording view if you have it mounted over the rear view mirror. I've decided to live with that for now as I've tried other options and this is the lesser of the evils for me lol. The positives greatly outweigh these minor annoyances. The customer support is top notch! I've been having nearly daily emails with them trying to figure out solutions and they are extremely responsive and genuinely what to help your situation. Highly recommend!

I have the same issue on my 24 JLU Sahara with ACC. I've been trying different positions and I'm going to try a different bracket for mounting the G900 Pro to the original factory mirror mount. Have you come up with any mounting solutions that help eliminate the blocked view of the ACC?

I personally have not. Wolfbox offered me a replacement OEM bracket to mount it directly in the factory mirror location. However, in my experience, putting it in this location is not low enough to completely remove the ACC box from view and it still interferes with the driver's side sun visor. Therefore, I just returned the OEM bracket and still dealing with the original location overtop the mirror. My "solution" (if you call it that) was to overlay my recorded rear cam footage to the upper right of the screen where the ACC box is shown. Not perfect, but it works for now until I get annoyed with it.
