Hi all,
Just picked up my 2019 JL and the dash lights especially the tachometer , speedometer seem to dim . with the controller rolled up to the highest setting. If I push it up till it clicks they’re very bright daytime use one click down and they’re very dim. the uconnect system and allow you to change the dimness on the radio but not the dash anybody else find this annoying or is there a fix for it. The maximum brightness at night seems to dim for me and the daytime brightness is too bright at night is there anyway to adjust the maximum night time brightness?
Thank you

If your headlights or wipers are on the dash display automatically dims, one click down from the dome light being on is as bright as it will get and that’s not bad during the day but at night it’s to darn bright for me so I keep mine at 2 clicks down from dome being on and at night it’s right for me but is somewhat dim during the day but I’m not going to constantly be adjusting the dash lights

Sorry I guess I should’ve been more clear in my explanation, on the highest setting at night the dash lights just seem too dim . The next click up is full brightness and that’s too bright.
The maximum night time setting is too dim for me is there anyway to adjust that?

SOLUTION FOUND Had the same issue, dash dimmer had no effect on radio, it was almost unreadable during the day and night, it was very frustrating. You need to go into your radio settings on the radio itself, touch UApps scroll to settings, then display, under the display setting page there is a manual and automatic check button. You need to check automatic, then it will be bright. You can then use the right dimmer switch on the dash to dim the dash lights and radio. The left dimmer controls the ambient floor and door handle lighting if your jeep is so equipped. Hope this helps.
