I have a 2019 delivered on Jan 10th, currently with 800 miles.

I am having this issue too. Only after it has sat for a while (over night ) and it’s below freezing. Once it is warmed up from idling I can usually turn it off let the Jeep go completely to sleep then start it back up. This process obviously take sometime and This morning I was not able to do this, I had to leave. Once the Jeep is moving and this is happening the odemeter is not counting miles. The gauges finally reset and work correctly after the the auto start stop activates.

I think I'd be searching for a solution online. Perhaps someone knows how to permanently fix this issue with out FCA involved.

I've still not heard back from my service department. It's good that they didn't keep my jeep.

On the plus side, not having a working speedometer has helped me sharpen controlling my speed by feel alone.

I too am having issues. It happened after having my Jeep for 1 week and now again this week (3rd week). Brought it in the first time and they said they had never see this before (I had a video) and to come back if it happened again. Nothing was done. I am going back this week with a second video and this thread. Hopefully I can also get it resolved.
I have the same issue with mine. I have owned it for 2 weeks and have 1100 miles on the Jeep Wrangler Unlimit JL sport s . I called FCA to start a complaint about it. The dealership found a separate electrical issue that had to be fixed and then just added a note saying that the problem I video taped and showed the lady at the front desk (because God forbid the tech comes to talk to me about what is going on and find out first hand) and they were like we can not replicate but if it happens again bring it in. Yeah FYI bro the same night I brought it home it did it again after sitting in the driveway for 2.5hrs in the cold . This is all as of today the 28th. Idk how to do it but FCA y'all need to step up to the plate here cause this should not be an on going issue across all the Jeep. @JeepCares

Dealer was unable to reproduce (+30F here this week, odd weather) and asked that we bring it back when it is colder so they can reproduce the problem.

No error codes were generated for the dash cluster reboots or for the intermittent failure of the back up camera. :(

I literally have video recoded mine muntile times doing this. Along with my watch showing the date and time of this happening. Because I know they will just hem and haw to not fix anything. Mechanics now don't know how to listen to the owners of the vehicle and more and only follow what a computer tells them it's reading. So typically we all get screwed until someone can open their eyes and see they have a real issue that needs to be addressed.

We showed them video as well, however they said unless they saw themselves that Jeep wouldn't cover the replacement and the dealer would have to pay for the Dash cluster.

The tech did have an interesting theory - could this be a grounding issue. Possible that the cold contracts materials just enough to cause an intermittent issue.

We also had a few loose fuses, but we tested and fixed that post cold weather (no fun playing with the vehicles in -20F.)

I understand that and good theory. But since you check fuses and didn't do anything crazy. Was the issue resolved or still ongoing.

Just left my dealer with this same issue. Told me it's possible software. Want to try to upgrade that first then try the other items mentioned also. Said the Jeep rep was in today and this topic was mention. I'm going back in a week or 2 to schedule appt.(67 miles in 37 days of owning it LOL) my JL is not my daily driver so I'm not in a rush. My dealer is a aware of the issue and will get it in to help. I'll keep my info updated on this thread! I mentioned there that I use this forum and get a lot of useful and beneficial info from it. Schooled my sales rep from things I've read off this forum! Lol @JeepCares

Spoke to my dealer today. Taking it in in a week or 2 for them to look at. Jeep rep was there this morning. I got there today around 3. They want to try a few things before cluster replacement. Saying it's a software glitch

As of 30 Jan 2019
Dropped my Jeep of at the dealer this morning. The gauges did not work all the way to the dealer almost 20 miles. The moment the guy came to my car to take the Jeep in, I oped the door and the gauges started working. Thankfully I had a video and they took it in. My guess is they will have to wait until the morning to see it happen when it’s cold again. I will update once they diagnose and have a solution. Thank you @JeepCares for reaching out.
