Hi guys,

i was installing my sway disco when i noticed a wire just behind the inner fender and this wire diesnt seem to be connected. I tried routing it to the furtest i see and wonder if its a ground of some sort?

Not 100% sure because I’ve got a coolant reservoir there that you don’t have, but it looks like I have a similar looking wire running over to a ground point behind the drivers side headlight if that helps. 2021 3.6 eTorque.

cool i went in and took a better pic, looks like its a ground. Now, what was it supposed to go to? Maybe if for another engine config, i have the 3.6

From your last pic it looks like the ground I was referencing is connected already on your jeep, so it doesn’t appear to be the ground I thought it was.

is it possible for you to trace it back to where it’s coming from? Did you buy your jeep used? I’m wondering if it is something from an accessory a previous owner removed.

well the picture focus is on thwe wrong nut, the wire is the ground wire attached to the foreground fuzzy body nut so it is a ground, just not sure where its from or what its supposed to attach to. I bought it new and its a 2019 so its been like this for a while...lol
