Hi Guys,
So I’ve lived about a year with my JLUR and still love it! I’m still having one problem though, the seats are just too high.
I’m wondering if anyone has bought or seen after market seats/rails that give more head room? Extra legroom would be a plus too, but I can live with the legroom. I bought the big boy brackets and put them in, but they raise the seat which caused more problems than gaining the extra legroom. I know I’m not the only one that has this issue.
The big push for this is I’ve come to realize if I’m rear ended, the center of my head will hit the sound bar that’s right behind it. I imagine in this scenario I’ll more than likely have severe head trauma from a what would otherwise be a minor collision. So now that I’m having a kid, I need to make sure I’m safe and no, I’m not getting a different car.
Any advice you guys have would be appreciated.
