After a couple of weeks fine-tuning the design I finally finished installing aftermarket seat heaters on my JLUR.
Initially I used a kit I bought on Amazon that used buttons for controlling the heating elements, but the problem with that was that I couldn't use remote start to pre-heat the seats in the winter because the default state of the buttons was off and I had to manually push the buttons once I got inside to turn the seat heaters on.
After some research I found a version of the same kit with a mechanical "knob" control, which allows me to leave the knob in the position I want and have the seats heat automatically when I use remote start. I 3D modeled trims for the knobs to match the other knobs on the JL line, and I also designed a modification for the AUX buttons bank to make it look as much as a factory option as possible.
You can see the results on the attached pics.
