Finalizing getting the engine back together and found a small crack in the connection under the coolant reservoir. It is a 90 deg plastic elbow that connects to the bottom of the overflow reservoir and then the hose connects to it. I could not find a generic replacement at parts store. Does anyone know of a generic part or am I stuck buying the hose assembly @ around 40+ bucks?

I am having the same issue. Did you ever find the part to replace it without having to purchase the entire hose? I hate that Jeep makes you purchase the entire hose when the first thing that will give out is the 90 degree plastic elbow hose adapter.

I drilled out the opening and threaded a hot water pvc nipple into it. It is now held on with a hose clamp like it should have been from the start. Not the prettiest fix, but more a trail rated and ready fix. Holding strong for 10K now.
