Hey guys! I have a question because I know our coolant reservoir cap can be weird to get on and off. After reading through the threads I have found mixed information. From my understanding there are 2 stops on our caps. After topping off my coolant today I tightened it all the way because I thought that made sense with how the threading was and the notch on the cap. After this I started reading through the threads and changed it to the first stopping point. When I did this though I could almost hear a hissing coming from the reservoir. Because of this I decided to turn the cap until it wouldn't go down any further and now it is at a stopping point and is completely flush. This appears to be the correct thing to do and this hissing stopped. I also think I remember it being tightened to this point before I undid it. Please help! Lol
Also I have a 2018 JL 3.6L.
Thanks for the help!
