Where is everyone storing their soft tops (complete package) while you are using your hard top?

Where is everyone storing their soft tops (complete package) while you are using your hard top?

I have a small single car detached garage with a complete width shelf in its back, higher than most vehicle's hood's when driven in "face first." (The Wrangler with stock tires almost fits--enough to close the garage door.)

I'll probably put the soft top stuff up there, where they'll be plenty of room given the hard top will be coming off. Unlike @fdisker2000 I didn't save the large box the soft top come in, just the box inside that box held the windows: which I will probably use to store them.

But the above is just specific anecdote with little transferability to others; so let me talk more generically.

I may choose to keep the soft top completely down, but within the rig. We'll see. This will involve removing all the door hardware and the pieces that sit at the back of the tub top on either side, into which the side windows clip in, and the back window tuck under on either side. We'll see what kind of space this takes up in the rig versus the effort of taking the soft to off the rig, storing in the black protective bag the soft top fabric piece came in, and storing.

I hear that things will fit under this configuration on the JL. The did on the JK. They may not--I've yet to try it.

I have a Lange hoist for my hard top and I bungeed the soft-top to the hoist's frame to store it for the summer (Texas summer means hard-top ON). Soft top windows are in the Mopar bag hanging next to the hoist from my garage rafters.

I may be wrong, but I think they didn't ship (from factory) the soft tops under the hard tops (for dual tops), like they did for JKs.
Even with the JKs: there was a warning not to leave the soft top under the hard top.
Noted @fdisker2000 and appreciated. I guess I'll do it "right." :)

At some point when shopping for JKs (but not buying, a bought a JL) the Dual top ones, at least at the dealer, had the soft top installed (at least the fabric portion) within the hard top.

I am storing my soft top on the rack I use for my hard top. Works well and keeps it out of the way.

I didn't think it would fit, is it a Racor?

Racor hoist with the Topsy straps
This is what I did. Make sure to get the cam driver from Topsy as the plastic one that ships From Racor has been know to fail. Also, don't do what I did and get the lift put together before realizing you needed the straps installed (it happens early in the Racor build).
