Anyone used this with aftermarket wheels? I have read that the extended lugs may not fit some. I have KMC XD 129’s with gorilla spline lugs.

I didnt have any issues with mine. Mounted on a 17x9 Rugged Ridge XHD wheel.

Ive since removed it though, in favor of relocating my license plate to the spare.

It's not just the lug fitment you've gotta worry about, but the distance as well. I've got the Mopar Off-Road Slotted wheels and I actually had to buy some plastic washers so that the metal bracket would clear the wheel.

Going to go for it. The KMC’s are pretty close to stock offset, so I don’t see any length issues, was more concerned about the lugs fitting.

Go with the aftermarket offering that is identical to the OEM relocation kit offering. You will save lots of $ going with the aftermarket one.

You might be able to find an OEM one selling for a reasonable amt., (about $72) but if not, go with the aftermarket offering.

Mopar 3rd Brake Light Relocation Kit or for those that need a bracket for a back-up, rear Aux light. etc., there is now a vendor that has made a knock off of the Mopar offering. Looks just like the $85 Mopar offering but you can get this one for $53.99.
