Check engine light on 2021 JLU 2.0 turbo

I bought a Low mileage (7,000 mi) 2021 JLU. Took it for a rattle in the engine. Initially they replaced the turbo, saying it was a loose fan. The noise was still there, but before they took it back the check engine light came on. I took it in and told them about the light and they replaced the timing chain, tensioner, and guides for the engine rattle. The noise problem is resolved now BUT, the check engine light came back on. In their notes they say that they could not get the problem to return a code so they "reset the adaptives" which just clears the error codes back to factory setting. I'm thinking it may be related to the new turbo but it also could be as simple as resetting the gas cap, which I already tried. What are your thoughts?

Turbos use an impeller (aka turbine wheel), not a "fan", so hopefully they just tripped over the proper nomenclature.

As for the CEL code, what is it? That'll go a long way in getting you close to the identity of the actual issue(s).

They said they were unable to get a return code so they just reset it. I'm talking it back to them but was hoping to get some useful info here...

CEL could be absolutely anything so unless you get a reader, no can help you.
