Greetings All,

Went to pickup my son last night and received a "flashed HUD message" of Electronic Stability Control error, which rapidly disappeared. When I went to shift to "Reverse" it simply blinked at me. (similar to the park reverse safety function) I popped it into "P" tried to shutoff the engine to no avail (brake depressed). I then removed my foot from the brake (trans still in P) and cycled through start run and stop until the car shutdown. I restarted the vehicle and all operations appeared to function as normal except my check engine line came on, an OBD scan gave me codes PO980 and PO986: "Shift Solenoid (C and E respectively) control circuit high"

I have an appointment for my local jeep place for Wednesday (soonest they could get me in) but this is obviously a pain in the 455 as I'd like to rectify ASAP and not risk a major issue being transmission related. Jeep recently replaced my ESS battery a few weeks ago and I am wondering if a related fuse is loose (assuming they pulled my box to get at it)? Might anybody else have run into this and have some quick things to check? Last question, anyone have a good graphic for me to use to locate the specific harness so that I might roll under and give it a look and make sure it solidly connected?

thanks in advance,
Rob
